Lisa Berger gewinnt die U23 Schweizermeisterschaften im Triathlon! Hier berichtet Sie wie es ihr beim Wettkampf ergangen ist.
„Noch zehn Sekunden bis zum Start“ tönt es aus den Lautsprechern am See in Nyon. Wenig später stürze ich mich mit vielen andern Schweizer Triathletinnen in den Genfersee. Heute findet die Schweizermeisterschaft im Triathlon statt. Das Rennen wird über die Sprintdistanz ausgetragen. Zuerst schwimmen wir 750m in See. Es wird viel geschubst und zurückgezogen.
Trotzdem kann ich mit den schnellsten Schwimmerinnen mithalten. Auf der 20km langen Radstrecke kann ich mich schon bald absetzen. Im Aufstieg kann ich gemeinsam mit sechs andern Triathletinnen
den andern Athletinnen davon fahren. Auf den 20km gelingt es uns, gemeinsam mehr als eine Minute Vorsprung auf das Verfolgerfeld raus zu fahren.
Die 20km auf dem Rad sind zurückgelegt. In der letzten Kurve öffne ich Schuhe, steige mit den Füssen auf die Schuhe. Darauf schwinge ich das Bein über den Sattel, und beginne zu laufen. Zuerst bringe ich das Velo in die Wechselzone, deponiere den Helm in der dazu vorgesehenen Box und laufe los. Zu Beginn habe ich etwas Mühe, den Rhythmus zu finden, doch komme ich immer besser in Fahrt. Schlussendlich kann ich mich von allen andern Konkurrentinnen absetzen und den Schweizermeistertitel in der Kategorie der unter 23-jährigen feiern. Ich freue mich riesig über den Erfolg!
